Research regarding UPS USPS and FEDEX Tracking Numbers

I'm basically wanting to pay for information here. Or pay someone for research that can find the answer. Basically, there is a couple of softwares that offer a service that I want to recreate.
Service #1: OaGenius has a service where you can take a TBA (Tracking by Amazon) number and generate a Fedex Number that will match the destination zip code as well as the same delivery date as the original TBA number. You can also manually pick a zip code or city and state and delivery date and it'll generate a Fedex Number.
Service #2: Shipper-Store.com has a service where you choose a zip code or a city and state as well as a delivery date and THEN you can choose whether you want a UPS, USPS, or a Fedex number.
My GUESS is that they're doing some sort of API calls with Fedex, UPS, and USPS to say if I input a zip code and a date then the API gives them a list of Tracking Numbers that fits those perameteres
