OCR of legal contracts

I'm looking for a script and simple user interface to extract key loan covenants (obligations) from legal contracts and export them to a csv file. In particular, I want to extract dates and obligations for reporting of certain information required from the borrower to the lender. Files will be word or PDF, can start with whatever is easier as a prototype.
