IoT Gas Sensor Project
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
i am looking for a an all-in-one developer to assist with the coding and PCB design of a V2 prototype for my project. The prototype utilises environmental sensors and sends information to a mobile application (currently using thingspeak - web page).
i have been working on a project to develop a environmental sensor that monitors multiple gasses as well as humidity and temperature. these sensors are controlled by a minicontroller that periodically takes readings and relays those readings wirelessly to the my thingspeak channel (ideally this would be a mobile application).
As well as taking readings, the module will also send push notifications (currently achieved through thingtweet) to my mobile phone when thresholds are crossed. the module also has Red,Yellow,Green LED's that are activated by accelerometer, to provide visual indication of gas/threshold status.
as this is a V2 prototype, i already have the schematics and coding from the first evolution. i am now looking for miniaturisation and added functionality.
The first iteration used ESP32 but i have decided to switch to the teensy LC and use an HM-BT4502 BLE module (to reduce the drain on the battery).
The plan was to produce a separate unit that would act as a BLE receiver and convert to WIFI (this would be plugged in nearby)
if this is something you would be interested in working on, i would appreciate the opportunity to discuss further.
