How to split/fragment UDP channels, list other networking solutions
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
Title: Adaptive Augmented Reality Interface for Ground and Tower Operations.
Objective: Airport operations especially under low visibility conditions are usually based on procedures and working methods with limited or without automation support. One of the reasons is the fact that the controller cannot visually identify the traffic. With AR, the visual information is enhanced to enable identification and tracking. Project RETINA investigated the mentioned issues and proposed solutions with application-oriented research.
The AR App derives the relevant Augmented Reality Overlays and deploys them on the appropriate ATCO Head-Up Interface (being either Spatial Display or Head Mounted Display). This proposal is an extension/continuation of the developed model in order to build adaptive AR applications for Ground and Tower operations.
