Code / Program, consult, or develop battery status in Windows 10 for small computer
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am developing a small headless windows computer to function as an automotive diagnostic tool. Using an ASRock Ind SBC-350M motherboard. Device will always operate on batteries. The motherboard has no battery management system. I would like a very simple way for a remote user to be able to see the battery voltage at minimum. It would be even better if windows recognized the battery as a battery. (Full battery management, cell balancing, control of charging strategy and current would all be a bonus, not required.)
The mother board has GPI/O (Intel 300 series chipset family On-Package Platform Controller Hub) as well as RS-232/422/485.
So how do we do it? Do you know how to program this? Does it require an additional device? Please help!
