PHP/CodeIgniter Tech Ops Coordinator for Dev Team Support
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
We are looking for a long-term Technical Operations Coordinator to support an active multi-developer platform built on a legacy PHP CodeIgniter monolith running on VPS infrastructure.
This is not a traditional development role. You will be helping manage development operations day-to-day — supporting developers, reviewing code, running audits, and keeping projects moving forward.
Requirements:
• PHP experience (3+ years minimum)
• CodeIgniter experience preferred
• GitHub and Pull Request review experience
• VPS, cPanel, and/or GoDaddy administration experience preferred
• Strong written English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and follow established processes
• Responsive and proactive — developer questions need timely answers
Deliverables / Responsibilities:
• Respond to developer questions via team communication channels
• Review GitHub Pull Requests and provide actionable feedback
• Perform milestone audits against scope documents
• Spot-check code submissions for quality and alignment
• Help coordinate releases and developer activity
• Perform occasional VPS, cPanel, or GoDaddy administrative tasks
• Escalate technical issues when appropriate
• Help maintain development momentum across active projects
Tools Provided:
• Company Google account and Google Drive access
• Google Meet and Gemini access
• GitHub access
• Project AI tools used during audits and reviews
Work Arrangement:
This is an hourly role with a monthly availability retainer. Most tasks are short reviews, developer support responses, and PR validations. Occasionally a deeper investigation may be required. Hours are tracked and billed monthly.
Please include in your application: years of PHP experience, CodeIgniter background, GitHub/PR experience, VPS/cPanel familiarity, your timezone, and your typical daily availability window.
About the project: This is a growing hospitality technology platform with an established developer team that needs a reliable operational backbone to keep code quality high and projects on track.
