Part-Time Cocos Game Developer
Budget: $25 – $50 CAD
I’m putting together a small, long-term team to build six cross-platform titles in Cocos over the next six months. We’ll start with a paid, two-week trial that asks you to mirror our existing PWA 2D poker game in Cocos Creator, targeting web, mobile, and desktop from a single codebase.
Key requirements
• Real-time multiplayer, in-game chat, and a live leaderboard must be wired up from day one.
• The look and feel must follow our current design system; I’ll hand over the Figma files, sprite sheets, and style tokens.
Engagement details
• 3 hours a day, roughly 15 hours a week.
• Initial rate is $20/hr for the trial; we’ll review the rate once the trial ships successfully.
• You’ll work directly with our in-house devs through Git, daily stand-ups, and a shared task board.
Trial-period deliverables
1. Feature-complete poker build that matches the PWA gameplay and UI.
3. Source committed to our private repository with tidy, documented code.
If you already have a Cocos poker game - finished or in production - send me the link, APK, or build along with a short note on the tech stack you used. That real-world proof of skill will move you straight to a call so we can map out the rest of the roadmap together.
