We are looking for experienced COBOL developers to help review and analyze existing COBOL codebases.
What you'll do:
Review legacy COBOL systems
Analyze code structure, quality, and maintainability
Provide insights on architecture, complexity, and potential improvements
Requirements:
Strong experience with COBOL and legacy systems
Ability to understand large codebases
Experience working with enterprise/mainframe environments is a plus
Must provide a practical COBOL project for review/evaluation
Nice to have:
Experience with code metrics (LOC, commit history, contributors)
Background in system modernization or migration
Project Details:
Short-term / per-project basis
Pricing varies depending on codebase size and complexity
Budget range: $2,00 – $5,00+ per project
