Acquire Legacy Enterprise Codebases

Job ID: 40471825

Budget: ₹150,000 – ₹250,000 INR

I urgently need access to mature, production-level applications written in any of the following stacks: COBOL, Fortran, legacy .NET Framework, Java 7 or earlier, C/C++, VB6, or RPG. The ideal submission is a sizeable, real-world system complete with the workflows, modules, and history that typically power enterprises.

What I’m specifically after is the full codebase (a Git repo, Subversion dump, or even a zipped archive) plus whatever SDLC artefacts you still have—requirements specs, architecture or design diagrams, test plans, deployment scripts, user manuals, change logs, database schemas, the works. The richer and more authentic the collateral, the better.

Priority goes to projects that were genuinely in production and exceed the typical “toy” size, so large-scale, multi-module systems are especially welcome. If you have multiple applications, feel free to propose them all; I’m happy to review each one quickly and move fast on the ones that fit.

Typical deliverables I expect:
• Complete source repository or archive
• Companion documentation and build instructions
• Any database dumps, sample data, or schema scripts needed to bring the system up locally

Acceptance criteria:
• Code builds or compiles in the documented legacy environment (or a modern emulator/compatibility layer you provide)
• Documentation aligns with what’s delivered and is sufficient for a knowledgeable engineer to stand the system up
• All artefacts arrive in a single transfer (secure link or compressed archive) with clear licensing or transfer-of-ownership terms

If you have something that matches—even partially—send a brief outline of the language, approximate LOC, functional domain, and whichever artefacts are included. I’m ready to evaluate and close quickly.
