Haas CNC Setup & Programming
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m bringing a Haas CNC online for a run of plastic parts and need an expert to step in and get everything dialed. The immediate priorities are the physical machine setup—tools, work offsets, probing routines—and then building a clean, efficient program that will keep cycle times low while protecting the softer plastic stock.
You should be fully conversant with Haas controls, familiar with the quirks of machining plastics (chip evacuation, heat, optimal surface finish), and comfortable generating or refining G-code to suit. I will supply the solid model and any print notes so you can create a complete setup sheet, recommended tooling list, and the final program ready to load.
Deliverables
• Verified machine setup parameters and offsets
• Optimized G-code program for plastic material
• Clear, step-by-step setup sheet so the job can be repeated without guesswork
If you can walk me through the process remotely or on-site, even better. Let’s get this machine cutting smoothly.
