Fabricate Small Custom Aluminum Parts
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a simple two-piece aluminium setup that I need physically produced in a very small run (anywhere from one up to ten sets).
Piece 1 – the pin (my “green” part)
• Overall length: 50 mm
• End section: 4 mm long
• Main section thickness: 1.5 mm
• Through-hole: Ø 0.91 mm, centred
Piece 2 – the tube (my “yellow” part)
• Internal bore only needs to be just large enough for the pin to slide freely from end to end. I don’t need extra clearance beyond that smooth fit.
Surface finish is not critical to me; anything from raw-machined through polished or anodised is acceptable so long as dimensions are met. When the job is complete, bulk-pack the parts together—no individual wrapping is necessary.
If you already work with CNC lathes, micro-machining tools or precision extrusion, this should be a quick task. Any standard aluminium alloy is fine; please state what you plan to use along with the tolerances you can hold around the quoted dimensions. I’ll supply sketches/CAD once we start, and I only need the finished parts shipped back.
