Edit Bitmap for CNC Inlay
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a single bitmap image (JPG/PNG) that I want to turn into a clean, cut-ready file for a wooden inlay project. The design will be machined on my CNC through Vectric software, so I need a finished file I can open directly in VCarve/Aspire, with all vectors, offsets, and toolpaths already set up for wood.
Here is what I’m expecting:
• Trace and refine the bitmap into crisp vectors suited for inlay pockets and inserts
• Apply appropriate clearances and glue gaps for a snug wood-to-wood fit
• Create labeled layers and toolpaths inside a Vectric-compatible file (.crv or .crv3d), ready to run
• Include any supporting formats you generate during the process (e.g., SVG, DXF) for reference
Please keep the vectors smooth, avoid unnecessary nodes, and choose conservative feed/speed defaults so I can tweak them quickly if needed. If something in the artwork makes a perfect inlay impossible, flag it early so we can adjust together.
