Cabinet Vision Specialist

ob Description:We are a custom cabinet manufacturing company seeking an experienced Cabinet Vision Specialist to support our design-to-production workflow. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Cabinet Vision software and have a strong understanding of cabinet manufacturing processes, engineering, and CNC nesting.
Responsibilities:
Draft and engineer cabinet projects using Cabinet Vision based on design drawings and specifications.
Create detailed, accurate cut lists, part drawings, and assembly instructions.
Optimize and prepare CNC-ready nested files for production.
Ensure all materials, hardware, and construction methods are applied correctly according to company standards.
Collaborate with our design and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
Maintain accuracy and efficiency to minimize material waste and maximize shop productivity.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Cabinet Vision (latest versions preferred).
Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods and joinery.
Experience generating nested CNC files and toolpaths.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, elevations, and shop drawings.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Reliable and able to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with CNC routers and woodworking machinery.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
Experience working with both residential and commercial cabinetry.
Project Details:
This is a contract role with potential for ongoing collaboration.
Work can be performed remotely with regular communication and file sharing.
Compensation will be based on experience and project scope.
