CNC Toolpath For FeedScrew

Job ID: 40448376

Budget: $15 – $25 CAD

I have an extruder screw to be machined from steel and I need a full CNC program created for it. I will supply the exact length, root and outer diameters, and flight pitch so you can model the geometry precisely. The finished part must meet ±0.1 mm across every critical surface, including the core, flights, and drive end.

Once I share the dimensions, I’d like you to generate the complete milling strategy, simulate it, and supply ready-to-run code (acceptable formats: Fanuc-style G-code or a neutral post I can adapt). A short setup sheet noting tools, speeds/feeds, and any required 4-axis indexing will help my shop hit the tolerance without guesswork.

Acceptance will be based on:
• Verification in simulation that the toolpaths clear all collisions and produce the specified geometry.
• A STEP or native CAD of the final model for QC comparison.
• Measured points in the verification report demonstrating the ±0.1 mm accuracy window.

If you normally work in Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidCAM, or NX, that’s perfect—just send the source file along with the post.
