3-Axis CNC Metal Milling Program
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I need a skilled CAM programmer to generate clean, efficient tool-paths for a series of moderate-complexity metal parts that will run on my 3-axis CNC mill. I’ll supply the STEP files, material specs ( 5000 series Al), and any fixture limits you need; you return production-ready G-code, a setup sheet, and recommended tooling with feeds and speeds that suit common carbide end mills.
Your code should keep cycle time reasonable without sacrificing surface finish or tolerance (±0.02 mm typical). I’m comfortable importing files created in Fusion 360, or edgecam, so use whichever platform gets the best result as long as the post matches a standard Fanuc controller.
Deliverables:
• Verified G-code for each part
• Setup sheet with op sequence, zero location, and tooling list
• A quick note on any probes or offsets required before the first run
I’ll run a dry-run simulation here and sign off once everything backplots correctly and clears collision checks.
