IMOS iX Cabinet Preparation
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a partner who can take my custom, moderately complex cabinet concepts and turn them into fully machine-ready IMOS iX files that match an industrial aesthetic. You’ll receive hand-sketched or PDF shop drawings from me; from there I expect you to build clean parametric models, assign the correct hardware, and generate drilling patterns, part labels, cut lists, and nested CNC output that my operators can load straight onto the machine without a single tweak.
We work exclusively in iX CAD/CAM, so every element—edge banding data, material thickness, connector libraries—must flow through that environment. If you regularly optimise nests, handle tool-path verification, and spot the little collisions that only show up on the shop floor, you’ll understand the level of finish I’m after.
Deliverables I need to sign off the job:
• IMOS iX project file with all parametric data intact
• PDF shop drawings automatically generated from the model
• Optimised nest sheets (DXF or MPR) ready for direct CNC import
• Complete parts, cut, and hardware lists exported from iX
I review each package by running a dry-run in our post-processor; the job is accepted when it runs clean, with no manual edits needed.
