5-Axis CNC Postprocessor Design

Job ID: 39862483

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I need a CAD/CAM specialist who can build a reliable postprocessor for a 5-axis CNC mill, fully compatible with SolidWorks CAM.

Scope
• Analyse my machine’s kinematics and controller parameters (details provided after award).
• Create and tune the post so that toolpaths generated in SolidWorks output clean, error-free G-code.
• Prove the post with at least two sample parts—one simple, one multiaxis—showing correct rotary moves, tool changes, and safety lines.
• Supply a concise installation and adjustment guide so I can tweak feeds, speeds, and macros later.

Key points
• SolidWorks is mandatory; other suites are optional only if they streamline verification.
• Accuracy and collision-free motion are critical. Please include any simulation tools you plan to use.
• Target turnaround: 15 days from kickoff.

Deliverables
1. Finished postprocessor file(s) in the required format.
2. Sample G-code files and screenshots of back-plot/verification.
3. Setup & user documentation (PDF).

If you have previous 5-axis post successes, share a brief example or video link—seeing is believing. I’ll be available daily for quick feedback so we can hit the deadline smoothly.
