Web site layout for fitness/nutrition/personal training service

Job ID: 37301059

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I am looking for a web designer who can create a layout for my fitness/nutrition/personal training service website. The primary goal of the website is to provide information and resources to visitors, like articles, calculators and recipes. Also sales of services (personal training/nutrition coaching)

Functional, written content focused layout.

I need someone with excellent communication skills in English (I do not have time to spend a lot of time explaining basic stuff).

Speedy delivery if possible. Experience with creating content-driven, functional web pages that can hold real content. It should not be designed around fictional content to appear nice looking at first glance.
Prefer someone who is available for future layout work, if the basic web site works out.

DESCRIPTION:

Focus on readability, easy/intuitive navigation, clean, modern professional look. No fancy animations or fancy elements that have no functional purpose on the web site.

Clean HTML 5, responsive design. Preferably latest version of Bootstrap (can consider other complete frameworks). Custom CSS as SCSS for easy adjustments.

No dependence on third party modules for special effects. Standard icons and symbols from common icon fonts are fine (i.e. bootstrap, md, font awesome and such)

Header with logo + menu to main content areas. Footer with just basic information (copyright and link to privacy, contact, about us)

Breadcrumbs present on all pages but the main front page.

Content will be CMS driven so layout must take into account that content will be fitted automatically (indexes, listings, content articles).

CONTENT PAGES:

Main front page – link to services (personal training), and content articles. Use of images ok, but it should not be the main parts of the layout, as there will be a lot of text articles that will be linked from the web page. One or two CTA/sales pitch boxes are fine.

Services Page – 2-3 personal training products, but layout must allow for more products (up to around 10) on demand.

Calculators and web forms of various kind. These can be complex so the form styling must ensure efficient use both on desktop and mobile devices (default bootstrap is fine).

Content overview (“blog index”) page for different sub sections/topics (i.e. training, nutrition and so on). These may change but should be linked from main page/top menu. These might be multilevel with sub topics displayed along with/atop of content links.

Written articles (blog pages) that are mainly text based, with 0 to 2 images, hence layout should not rely on images being present in every article. Text needs good readability (linked from the overview pages). Preferably full width text, no unnecessary clutter. Articles may have links to other relevant articles.

Info pages (“about us” and such).

Search/search result page. Clean listing of articles that works with or without article images.

User Registration Form + Login Page + landing page for logged in users (not sure what content goes there yet so basic profile information is fine)
