I’m ready to get my personal-story blog live and need a skilled web professional to turn the idea into a polished, fully functioning site. The core of the project is straightforward: set up a modern, self-hosted blog where I can regularly publish first-person articles, upload images, and manage posts with ease.
Here’s what I expect: the blog should load quickly, display clean typography that’s comfortable for long-form reading, and provide an intuitive back-end so I can draft, schedule, and edit content without touching code. While my immediate focus is on launching with the essentials, I’d like the build to remain flexible—think plug-and-play readiness for extras such as a comment section, reader subscriptions, or one-click social sharing should I decide to add them later.
I’m open to WordPress, Ghost, or a comparable CMS if you can make a strong case for it. Theme selection or light custom design tweaks (colors, logo placement, menu structure) are part of the scope, as is basic on-page SEO setup and guidance on how to keep the site secure and backed up.
Deliverable: a live, production-ready blog on my domain, admin credentials in hand, and a brief walkthrough so I’m confident managing everything once we go live.
