Modern Responsive SEO WordPress Site
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am putting together a corporate-style WordPress site that will serve primarily as a business showcase. What I need is a clean, modern build that remains lightning-fast, fully responsive on every device, and engineered with on-page SEO best practices from day one.
Core scope
The site will run on WordPress, using a lightweight, well-supported theme (e.g. GeneratePress, Astra or similar) and a solid page-builder only if absolutely necessary to keep the code lean. All development must follow current WordPress coding standards so I can update content easily without touching code.
Content & structure
• Essential pages: About, Contact, and Privacy Policy, alongside the main home/landing page and any placeholder service pages I can flesh out later.
• Contact page needs a working form (reCAPTCHA protected) that routes enquiries to my business email.
• All pages must be formatted in a consistent, corporate and professional design language—think generous white space, restrained colour palette, clear typography.
Performance & SEO
• Target a minimum 90+ score on Google PageSpeed Insights for both mobile and desktop.
• Implement caching, image optimisation (next-gen formats), and minified CSS/JS.
• Set up an SEO plugin such as Yoast or Rank Math with the basic settings configured, including XML sitemap submission.
Security & maintenance
• Harden the install with essentials: secure login URL, limited login attempts, CAPTCHA, and a reputable security plugin (Wordfence/Sucuri).
• Ensure automatic daily backups are enabled and easily restorable.
• Provide a short hand-off guide so I can add future pages, posts, and media myself.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional WordPress site migrated to my hosting.
2. All requested pages styled and populated with placeholder copy where needed.
3. Documented list of plugins/settings for speed, SEO, and security.
4. One brief video or PDF walkthrough showing how to edit content.
