Mobile-First Therapy Directory Build
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a developer or small team to turn my concept for a counseling/therapy directory into a polished, mobile-first web application. The core goal is to let people browse and quickly find pre-vetted therapists through an intuitive, phone-optimized interface while I manage all content from a simple admin panel.
Scope
• Design a clean, responsive UI that feels like an app on phones but scales elegantly on tablets and desktops.
• Build search and filter tools so visitors can locate therapists by specialization, location, or name in just a few taps.
• Create individual therapist profile pages that can stand alone as ‘landing pages’ and display:
– years of experience
– Areas of specialization
– Contact details (click-to-text/ email)
– Short intro video (YouTube or self-hosted)
– Office hours with clearly marked open slots
– Fees, insurance information, and a brief “my style” description
• Add a lightweight blog area where I can publish articles, announcements, and wellness tips.
• Ensure the entire site is SEO-friendly, loads fast on 4G, and meets basic accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Provide a functional prototype I can test on real devices, followed by a walkthrough so I can update content on my own.
Tech preferences
I’m open to modern stacks—React/Next.js with a headless CMS (Strapi, Sanity, or similar) or Laravel with Inertia, as long as the final result is easy for a non-technical admin to maintain.
Deliverables
1. Wireframes or mockups for approval
2. Fully responsive front end with search and profile components
3. CMS or admin panel configuration
4. Deployment on my hosting (Git, CI/CD helpful)
5. Post-launch support for bug fixes during the first month
If you’ve built directory sites, job boards, or booking platforms before, I’d love to see examples. Let me know your proposed tech stack, timeline, and any questions you have so we can get started right away.
