TrueNas app setup
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have an extremely powerful Framework Desktop with 128GB of RAM, 2 storage drives (8TB SSD, and 4TB SSD), 1 gbps+ networking, and an AMD Ryzen AI Max 385 CPU (16 core 32 thread), currently running TrueNas.
I’d like to set it up as my own private server, so I can run Jellyfin (and fill the libraries), have an easily accessible Windows VM from anywhere (doesn’t need to be great), a Minecraft server (silly, I know, but setting it up as a college community leader so that housing can play together), and open-webui (or more later).
I already have the datasets organized and the “apps” installed in their respective Docker containers (I think). Routed through cloudflare, certain domains are set-up for remote access to every part of the system as well, but I am relatively unfamiliar with Linux and TrueNAS, so I’d like to see if someone could set-up/connect Jellyfin to all the “arr” apps and torrent links, check networking and the system setup to fix what might need to be fixed, and simply get the foundations for a minecraft server and open-webui with AI models installed.
Happy to provide all the details needed if this is something anyone here is able to take on.
