Synology MailPlus Server Setup

I already have a Synology NAS with Public IP and installed MailPlus software;
I also have a domain in Cloudflare, I need to point the Email Service of the domain to the Synology NAS. The goal is to host our own mail with full IMAP access for staff and a reliable SMTP relay for outgoing messages.

The job covers:

• Installing or verifying the MailPlus Server and MailPlus Client packages on DSM
• Connecting the server to our domain (DNS, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records) and applying a trusted TLS certificate so every mailbox can send and receive securely over IMAP and SMTP
• Enabling and tuning the built-in anti-spam filters so obvious junk never reaches a user’s inbox
• Switching on two-factor authentication for all accounts and confirming it works with our existing Synology Account / Google Authenticator setup
• Creating one test mailbox, proving that messages flow in and out, and documenting the exact steps so I can add more users later

Remote access to DSM will be provided. Once everything is running I expect a brief hand-over note or screen-share walk-through so I’m confident the configuration is both secure and maintainable.
