Part-Time IT Support & Development
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
One day a week, you will work remote beside me for an 8-hour shift and keep our young software platform running smoothly while we scale. The core of the role is split between two areas:
• Technical support – respond to customer phone and email queries in our helpdesk, identify the root cause of issues, and walk users through practical fixes.
• Software development – work on the development of the platform and other projects we are working on, make small feature tweaks, squash bugs, and improve internal tools as needs arise.
We will pair during the first sessions so you can absorb our current workflow, codebase, and support process. As revenue grows, I plan to increase the hours, turning this into a larger commitment if it suits both of us.
Success in the first month looks like clear, friendly ticket replies, accurate troubleshooting, and at least one merged pull request that improves the platform. All work takes place during your single weekly day, but you will have access to the code repository and support dashboard at any time for preparation.
If you enjoy balancing customer interaction with hands-on coding and are happy to start small while we grow, this should be a great fit.
Our stack currently is NextJS, Supabase, Cloudflare, Vercel with the possibility of moving whole stack to AWS as the scale grows and the cost make sense.
