Metafox Cloudflare Fix & Optimization

I run a Metafox (formerly Phpfox) community that suddenly shows a white screen with the message “Something went wrong...” every time a member posts, deletes, or registers. The action itself completes in the database, yet the user is greeted with that error page. The behaviour started right after I placed the site behind Cloudflare. I have tweaked only a handful of Cloudflare settings and honestly can’t recall which ones, so I may have created a conflicting rule or cache level without realising it. My own troubleshooting has been minimal—just toggling a few caching and security options—so the issue is still there.

I need someone who understands Metafox’s AJAX-driven workflow, PHP 8, nginx/Apache rewrites, and Cloudflare’s edge caching, WAF, and Rocket Loader. The goal is to locate and eliminate the trigger so interactions run normally with no white-screen fallback.

Once stability is restored, I want the same specialist to push both mobile and desktop scores on Google PageSpeed Insights to a clean 100/100. Feel free to implement server-side caching, image format conversion (WebP, AVIF), lazy loading, critical CSS inlining, HTTP/2 or 3, or any other Lighthouse-friendly tactics, so long as they do not break Metafox modules or interfere with Cloudflare’s CDN layers.

• Error-free posting, deleting, and user registration on Metafox while Cloudflare remains active.
• Verified 100/100 scores on pagespeed.web.dev for the homepage and a typical member profile.
• A short note outlining the Cloudflare, server, or code changes applied so I can reproduce them on staging.
