Magento 2 Performance & Vitals

My Magento 2 store needs to feel instant. At the moment I’m not happy with our Time To First Byte or Largest Contentful Paint, and I’d also like to see solid gains on First Contentful Paint and Total Blocking Time.

The focus pages are clear: homepage, product pages, and the full checkout flow. All of my current benchmarks come from Google PageSpeed Insights, so you’ll be able to see the same data I do.

What I’m looking for:
• A repeatable, reliable way to push those four Core Web Vitals well into the green.
• An optimised Cloudflare setup—including cache rules, page-rules, and any relevant Magento-specific settings—so the site loads instantly for shoppers worldwide.
• Documented changes in the admin or codebase so I can maintain them after the project wraps.

Acceptance criteria
– TTFB, LCP, and FCP consistently <1 s, TBT comfortably <200 ms on the three page types mentioned, measured in Google PageSpeed Insights mobile tests.
– Cloudflare caching shows a high hit ratio without breaking dynamic checkout behaviour.
– All improvements survive a full cache flush and the next Magento upgrade.
