Lead Developer — Dental Note AI (Ongoing)

Ongoing Lead Developer engagement for Dental Note AI (dentalnote.ai) — a Django multi-tenant SaaS platform for clinical note generation at dental practices, hosted on Heroku.
About the Role:
The Lead Developer holds full technical authority over the project, including code reviews, PR merges, infrastructure management, sprint coordination, and day-to-day direction of the development team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role reporting directly to the CEO.
Current Responsibilities:

Code review and approval of all pull requests across the codebase
Architecture and security oversight for a Django-tenants multi-tenant application
Direct coordination and technical management of the senior developer
Infrastructure management across Heroku (4 apps), Cloudflare DNS, and supporting services
Bug triage, root cause analysis, and fix specification writing
CI/CD pipeline management and deployment oversight
Sprint planning and development roadmap execution
Domain migration and production environment configuration
Weekly investor-grade development summary reporting

Project Phase:
The platform is in final development heading into beta launch (target: early April 2026). Core templates are built and on staging, with active bug resolution, feature development (Tooth Surface Chart Builder), and infrastructure hardening underway.
Engagement Terms:
Hourly rate, 5 hours per week target. Time tracked via Freelancer's built-in time tracker with automatic weekly payment.
