Fix Cloudflare SSL Issue

Job ID: 40313413

Budget: $10 – $30 AUD

My site has suddenly dropped its secure padlock and now shows a “connection not secure” warning. Cloudflare is active on the domain, so the root cause points to an SSL/TLS configuration problem on their side.

Unfortunately I no longer have direct contact with the developer who originally set everything up, so I’m working with limited background information. What I can provide right away are Cloudflare account credentials, hosting panel access, and domain registrar login; everything else will need to be traced and tested from scratch.

Your task is straightforward: diagnose why the certificate is failing, re-establish a valid SSL/TLS chain, and make sure every page loads under HTTPS without errors or mixed-content warnings. I expect you to check the Cloudflare dashboard (crypto settings, edge certificates, universal SSL), confirm the origin server’s certificate or install a new one if necessary (Let’s Encrypt or cPanel AutoSSL is fine), and update any DNS, CAA, or HSTS settings that might block issuance.

Deliverable:
• Website loading securely over HTTPS with a valid certificate and no browser warnings.

Once complete I’ll verify the lock icon on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari before releasing the milestone.
