Domain and Google Cloud Setup
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I am starting from a blank slate and need someone who can take me from a parked GoDaddy domain to a production-ready environment on Google Cloud. The flow is straightforward:
1. Activate the domain on GoDaddy, point it to Cloudflare, and confirm DNS is propagating correctly (A/AAAA, CNAME, and any required TXT records for verification and SSL).
2. In Cloudflare, configure SSL-TLS, set recommended security rules, and enable caching where appropriate.
3. Inside Google Cloud, build the core stack I will run on:
• VM creation and configuration – spin up the primary Compute Engine instances with basic hardening (Ubuntu LTS preferred), firewall rules, and SSH key access.
• Load balancing setup – provision an HTTPS load balancer that terminates SSL, routes traffic to the VMs, and supports autoscaling if we decide to turn it on later.
• Database setup and management – create a managed Cloud SQL instance (or your recommended option) with backups, private IP, and IAM access controls.
No migration is involved; this is an entirely new setup. You will receive temporary access to GoDaddy, Cloudflare, and a fresh GCP project so you can configure everything directly.
Deliverable acceptance:
• Public URL loads securely over HTTPS, with DNS propagated worldwide.
• VMs accessible by load balancer health checks only, not by direct public IP.
• Database reachable from the VMs and blocked externally.
• Clear, concise hand-off document or screen-share walk-through explaining what was set up and how to tweak it.
