DNS, SMTP & Cloudflare Setup

I need a hand straightening out a few intertwined pieces of my infrastructure. First, I’m moving several domains behind Cloudflare and want the DNS zone there cleaned-up and expanded: that means creating the new A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records I’ll specify as well as adjusting a handful of existing records that have changed since the last migration.

At the same time my SMTP mail service has started to misbehave—messages intermittently bounce and outgoing mail sometimes lands in spam. I’m not switching to a new platform, just troubleshooting the current SMTP stack, finding the root cause and leaving me with reliable delivery and a clear, written summary of what you changed.

Successful delivery for me is:

• All requested DNS records live and propagating through Cloudflare, with no stray or duplicate entries.
• SMTP service tested end-to-end (send, receive, SPF/DKIM/DMARC pass).
• A concise hand-off document listing before-vs-after settings so I can maintain things confidently.
