Astro Website Deployment & QA
Budget: $10 – $20 AUD
The site is already fully built and approved in Astro;
what I now need is a clean, surgical deployment in cloudflare. I will point you to the approved branch
your job is to create a fresh deployment branch off it, touch only what is absolutely required to get the code into Cloudflare, and supply everything I (and my stakeholders) need to understand exactly what changed.
The public preview must run on Cloudflare, accessible at a stable URL so our team can audit the build. Copy, SEO, sitemaps, schema, legal details, NAP data, and page-status logic are locked: please treat them as untouchable. Broad dependency upgrades are out of scope unless you can justify them as the only way to ship; if that happens, explain clearly.
I work best when the technical artefacts are transparent, so along with the preview I expect:
• the branch name you created
• the precise commit hash that shipped
• a concise diff summary (file-by-file, with your reason for each change)
• build and deploy logs or links
• short notes on anything non-obvious you encountered
• simple, step-by-step launch instructions I can hand to the production gatekeeper
Once the preview passes our QA audit, I’ll give the green light and you can trigger the final production release.
If you have questions about Cloudflare settings, CI/CD workflow, or need temporary permissions, flag them early so we keep momentum.
You must not change:
page copy
SEO content
sitemap logic
schema output
legal/NAP/business details
page statuses/indexing logic
broad dependencies unless strictly required and justified
