We are in the early stages of designing a new multi-tenant SaaS product and I need a seasoned architect to guide our technical planning. The engagement centers on translating high-level business requirements into a solid, future-proof architecture that minimizes risk and accelerates time-to-market.
Key areas you will tackle include:
• Technology stack selection, weighing trade-offs among modern options and recommending the most maintainable path.
• Cloud infrastructure design (AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent) with a focus on elasticity, global availability, and cost management.
• Data layer strategy for a multi-tenant model—schema patterns, sharding or partitioning, and backup plans.
• API design guidelines and versioning approaches that encourage clean integration and low coupling.
• DevOps workflow definition: CI/CD pipelines, IaC tooling, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Best-practice guidance on security (tenant isolation, compliance readiness), performance tuning, and horizontal scalability.
Deliverable
A concise architecture blueprint and recommendations report—diagrams, component rationale, and an implementation roadmap—suitable for handing off to engineering for execution.
If the collaboration proves successful, I expect to extend the relationship into hands-on oversight of the build phase.
