Project Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Android app developer to create an application that connects to an HC-05 Bluetooth module. The module sends environmental sensor data such as Moisture Percentage, Time, Humidity, and Temperature. This data should be displayed in real-time, logged with additional user inputs (like Customer Name), and synced to the cloud. The app will also allow sharing data logs via WhatsApp and other messaging apps.
Additionally, each instance of the app should be secured with a unique key that will be provided to the user. This key will link the data collected to the specific instrument that sent it, and sync all records to the cloud.
Key Features:
1. Bluetooth Connectivity:
o The app will connect to the HC-05 Bluetooth module and receive data streams that include:
Meter number
Date/Time
Moisture Percentage
Humidity
Temperature
(above are sent by HC05 module by device)
Customer name: (to be filled by app user)
Checked By: (to be filled by app user)
o The data should be displayed in real-time on the app interface.
2. Data Logging and Customer Info:
o The app should allow users to enter a Customer Name associated with each data log.
o The received data, along with the Customer Name and a timestamp, should be stored locally in the app.
o The logged data must be viewable in a simple, organized manner (e.g., a list or table).
3. Sharing Logs via WhatsApp or other app like email:
o The app should provide an option to share data logs through WhatsApp or any other sharing apps. The shared data should include the customer’s name, sensor readings, and timestamp.
4. Cloud Sync:
o The app should automatically sync all logged data with a cloud database (e.g., Firebase, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
o Ensure that each log entry from the device is saved to the cloud along with its associated unique app key.
5. Key-based Access Control:
o When the app is installed and run for the first time, it should prompt the user to enter a unique key (provided by us, the app owner).
o This key will be tied to each download of the app and should uniquely identify the data coming from a particular instrument.
o The key will link the app instance to specific cloud data.
6. Data Recording by Instrument:
o Each key corresponds to a specific instrument, and the app must allow the user to view and access all logged data related to that instrument in the cloud.
7. User-friendly Interface:
o The app should have a clean, intuitive UI/UX that allows users to easily navigate between data logging, history, and sharing features.
8. Settings Page:
o The app should have a settings page that allows:
Resetting the Bluetooth connection.
Re-entering the key if necessary.
Syncing data manually with the cloud.
