Sourcing Data Aggregation System

Job ID: 39127161

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

We are developing a data aggregation and analytics platform for major brand owners (Nestlé, Mars, Mondelez, Ferrero, Lindt, etc.) to track cocoa sourcing from multiple traders (Barry Callebaut, Cargill, Sucden, GCB, Touton). These traders have their own traceability systems, but brand owners lack a single source of truth to cross-check, validate, and analyze data.

This platform will aggregate data from different sources (APIs, Excel, databases), detect fraud, cross-check supplier data, and provide compliance insights for regulations like EUDR, CSDDD, and CSRD.

? We need an experienced developer to design and build this system from the ground up.

? Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop a data ingestion pipeline to collect traceability data via APIs, file uploads (Excel/CSV), and direct database connections.
✅ Standardize and aggregate traceability data from multiple traders into a unified format.
✅ Implement fraud detection by cross-checking farmer IDs, farm sizes, and supply volumes.
✅ Integrate geospatial analysis (Google Earth Engine, Sentinel-2) for deforestation and compliance monitoring.
✅ Build a user-friendly dashboard for chocolate brand owners to visualize sourcing risks and compliance status.
✅ Ensure data security & access control so brand owners see all data, but traders can only access their own.
✅ Automate compliance reporting (EUDR, CSDDD, CSRD).

? Required Skills & Tech Stack
? Backend: Python (FastAPI/Django) or Node.js
? Frontend: React / Vue.js / Angular
? Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB (for flexible storage & analytics)
? APIs & ETL Pipelines: REST, GraphQL, Apache Airflow
? Geospatial Tools: Google Earth Engine, PostGIS, Sentinel-2
? Security & Access Control: OAuth 2.0, Role-Based Access (RBAC), GDPR compliance
? Cloud Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure

? Nice to Have
✔️ Experience in agriculture, supply chain, or traceability systems
✔️ Knowledge of EUDR, CSDDD, CSRD compliance requirements
✔️ Familiarity with machine learning for fraud detection

? Job Details
? Budget: Open to discussion – competitive compensation based on experience
? Project Length: 3-6 months (potential for long-term engagement)
? Location: Remote (freelancers & agencies welcome)
