Data Governance Solutions Architect with a strong background in implementing Data Governance solutions, preferably with Microsoft Purview. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on implementation experience with one or more Data Governance tools, such as MS Purview, Collibra, Alation, Monte Carlo or other leading edge vendor solutions. Must have gone through at least one full life cycle Data Governance implementation and be comfortable interfacing with client IT and business stakeholders. This is a critical role in establishing robust Data Governance frameworks within client’s organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement DG practices, preferably with Microsoft Purview, or other leading solutions such as Collibra, Alation, Monte Carlo.
· Be able to setup the MS Purview for the organization and integrate data assets and Databricks Unity Catalog to pre-populate the meta data automatically.
· Train the end users with the usage of the product.
· Design and implement Data Quality metrics through MS Purview or other Data Governance tools to objectively measure the Data Quality
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and design appropriate data structures.
· Develop and implement data architecture strategies that align with the organization’s objectives and best practices.
· Stay current with emerging data technologies and frameworks to drive innovation in data architecture.
· Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across multiple platforms.
· Conduct data profiling and establish data lineage to ensure compliance and auditing standards as necessary.
