Windows Server 2022 Standard VM Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a fresh Windows Server 2022 Standard machine that needs to host two Windows-based VMs dedicated to running desktop applications. I’m looking for someone to install and configure Hyper-V (or another proven hypervisor you recommend for this OS), create the two virtual machines, and hand them over fully operational.
Key points
• Primary goal: smooth, reliable execution of desktop apps inside each VM
• Both VMs must run Windows, activated and ready for software installs
• Allocate CPU, RAM, and storage so both instances perform well without starving the host
• Set up networking (internal and external), RDP access, and basic firewall rules
• Apply essential Windows updates and enable secure remote management
• Document the configuration—steps taken, resource allocation, and any credentials—so I can maintain the environment afterwards.
