AI Video Storage Overhaul -- 2

My drives are bursting at the seams since turning my AI-driven video work into a full-time business. I juggle both Google Drive and OneDrive today, and every file is a video asset. Nothing is backed up yet, so a bullet-proof safety net has to be woven in before we move a single byte.

Here’s what I need done:

1. Map the mess
• Audit my existing folder structures—local disks, Google Drive, and OneDrive—then propose a single, intuitive taxonomy that keeps raw footage, renders, client deliveries, assets, and AI models easy to find.

2. Expand the space
• Advise on the most cost-effective way to scale storage across these two services (additional Google Workspace storage, OneDrive add-ons, or third-party cold storage if that helps). Implement the upgrades once I approve.

3. Build iron-clad backup & recovery
• Set up an automated, versioned backup that mirrors all drives to at least one additional destination—cloud-to-cloud, local NAS, or both—so I have point-in-time recovery if anything goes sideways.
• Validate that permissions, sharing links, and metadata stay intact. This is my personal property and may not be shared beyond the backup locations we establish.

4. Migrate & organize without downtime
• Execute the re-organization plan, moving data in stages so my editing workflow never stalls.
• Verify file integrity (hash check) after each transfer.

Acceptance criteria
• Unified folder structure live on Google Drive and OneDrive, matching the agreed taxonomy.
• Automated daily backup job tested and documented.
• At least two copies of every video (primary + backup) verified by checksum.
• Clear hand-off doc detailing storage plan, backup schedule, and recovery steps.

Preferred tools: Google Drive for Desktop, OneDrive Sync Client, rclone, or similar—happy to hear alternatives if they shorten the path to a tidy, scalable, and safe video library.
