Scale Ready Backend for Mobile App

We're looking for someone to help take the backend of our app and move it into a proper cloud setup that can scale with traffic, regions, and future growth. The app is fully functional and currently in alpha testing. We been in development for over 1.5 years and finally in the home stretch. We’re pre-launch, so this is the ideal time to build out infrastructure before real traffic comes in.
We need an engineer who can:
Build out a full cloud environment (AWS or GCP)
Design scalable backend architecture
Set up load balancing and autoscaling
Build CI/CD pipelines
Create secure API gateways and authentication layers
Optimize performance and backend flow
Plan and implement regional traffic routing
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting
Evaluate bottlenecks and prepare the system for launch-level load
Handle deployments, environments, staging, and production
Bonus skills:
Experience with Node.js
Experience with real-time apps or on-demand services
Kafka or event-driven systems
Database scaling and caching strategies
