Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Content Writer to create high-quality, SEO-optimized content that educates our audience and demonstrates our technical expertise. This role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge and exceptional writing skills to produce content that is both technically accurate and engaging for our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation (Structured by Complexity)
Level 1: Content Repurposing
Adapt and optimize existing content based on clear SEO guidelines
Update and refresh content to maintain relevance and search performance
Follow provided templates and optimization frameworks
Level 2: Informational Content
Write educational articles (e.g., "What is CDN?", "What is the difference between DDoS protection and...")
Create content based on detailed briefs including target keywords, article length, and optimization requirements
Research and explain complex technical concepts in accessible language
Work with AI tools to enhance productivity while maintaining content quality
Level 3: Comparison Articles
Develop competitive analysis content comparing Gcore with competitors
Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical insights and product details
Present honest, balanced comparisons that highlight our strengths and acknowledge competitor advantages where appropriate
Conduct competitor research and analysis
Level 4: How-To Tutorials (Advanced)
Create hands-on tutorials solving real-world problems using Gcore services
Actually implement solutions (e.g., setting up VPN using our VPS, improving e-commerce website speed with our CDN)
Document step-by-step processes with before/after results and performance metrics
Demonstrate measurable outcomes and business impact
Requirements
Technical Background
Essential: IT-related background or experience (formal education or professional experience)
Highly Preferred: Understanding of core concepts including:
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
Kubernetes and containerization
Terraform and infrastructure automation
GPU computing and virtualization differences
