We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing and optimizing our end-user computing environment. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including managing AWS Workspaces, Tanium Deploy, Tanium Patch, Active Directory images, and group policies. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient user experience for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
● Technical Leadership:
○ Establish and maintain technical standards and best practices for the managed services team.
○ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
○ Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation.
● Infrastructure Management:
○ Design, implement, and manage complex IT infrastructure environments, including servers, networks, and storage.
○ Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
● Cloud Computing Experience:
○ Implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
○ Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and security.
● Vendor Management:
○ Establish and manage relationships with service providers and key vendors.
○ Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure the best value for our clients.
● Project Management:
○ Lead and execute IT infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and security enhancements.
○ Manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
● Client Management:
○ Interact with clients to understand their business needs and provide technical solutions.
○ Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service.
● Service Delivery:
○ Ensure the delivery of high-quality managed services that meet or exceed client expectations.
○ Monitor and measure service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance.
● Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
○ Identify process improvement opportunities and foster innovation within the team.
○ Explore new technologies and solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our managed services.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● 7+ years of experience in technical infrastructure management and managed services.
● Proven experience in cloud computing, with certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform preferred.
● Broad understanding of networking, storage, security, and virtualization technologies.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
1-year Project Duration
40 hours/week
