OVHCloud Windows VPN Setup

I already have an OVHCloud account and a fresh Windows-based VM waiting; what I need is a working OpenVPN server on that machine that assigns a single, static public IP to all traffic. The goal is intermediate-grade security—strong encryption and sound hardening practices, but without the overhead of multi-layer authentication. A straightforward username-and-password login is fine.

Here’s the exact outcome I’m after. You install and configure OpenVPN, make sure it runs cleanly on one thread (the VM’s core allocation is limited), and deliver a tested .ovpn profile that I can import on my devices right away. The connection must always present the same public IP, so please handle the elastic IP reservation and correct binding inside OVHCloud. A concise hand-off document explaining the key settings, firewall rules, and how to add or revoke user credentials will wrap things up.
