Multi-user Student Progress App
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I need an application to track and manage the progress of students. The app should have three types of users; admin, supervisor, and student, each with specific functionalities.
**Admin user functionalities**
- User management: The admin should be able to manage all the users of the system.
- Report generation: The admin should have the ability to generate different types of reports, including student progress and supervisor updates.
- Student creation: The admin needs the ability to create and update student profiles
- Competency creation & assignment: The admin needs the ability to create and update competencies for students and assign supervisors to these students.
- Supervisor assignment: The admin needs the ability to create and update supervisor assignments
- Assign competencies to a student: competence assignment should be part of the functionalities.
- Approve competencies for a student: reject or confirm comptencies submitted by student and/or approved by supervisor
**Supervisor user functionalities**
- Student progress monitoring: The supervisor should have the ability to monitor the progress of the students they manage.
- Communication with students: A system should be in place that facilitates communication between the supervisor and students.
- Competency assessment: The supervisor should have the ability to assess if a student has 'passed' in a certain competency.
- Confirm student assignment: Reject assignment based on workload/conflict of interest.
- View of student profile updates: Supervisors should readily see updates they've made to any student profiles on the homepage.
**Student user functionalities**
- Progress viewing: Students should be able to easily see his/her own progress.
- View competencies: Students should have access to view their competencies.
- Submit tasks: A functionality for students to submit tasks should be in place.
