MCR and TX Operators, EiC Wanted

We’re calling Freelance MCR Operators, TX Operators, and an EiC based in Cologne,Germany or Surroundings

For a Cloud MCR Project, we are building a freelance team in Cologne and are looking for:

1. TX Operator
• Ingest and playout media content in a cloud-based Master Control Room
• Handle file/live feed ingest (SRT/HEVC)
• Perform content checks (video/audio)
• Schedule and manage playout in Makalu by Qvest

2. MCR Operator
Main tool: Techex Edge
• Live monitoring of signals, streams, and playouts
• Troubleshoot and ensure smooth on-air output
• Monitor audio levels, latency, and redundancy paths
• Align incoming signals to standard
• Provide commentators with talkback and return video

3. EiC (Engineer in Charge)
• Lead the MCR team and coordinate all technical aspects
• Plan and optimise workflows (Ingest → QC → Playout → Distribution)
• Configure systems for best performance
• Act as main interface between client, technical teams, and operations
