HPC expert needed for an Overview and Consultation
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I may need 5-7 sessions of 45 mins to an hour, early UK hours
On high-performance computing and want clear, actionable insight into where the field is heading. The emphasis is firmly on future HPC roadmaps, covering algorithms, hardware, and the emerging software tool-chain—while still grounding the discussion in today’s production realities such as Open OnDemand (OOD), GitLab, Slurm, Linux and Cloud-based extensions.
Here’s how I’d like us to work together:
• Kick-off call: HPC best practices, HPC challenges, and HPC overview.
• Working sessions (2–3): walk me through the near- and long-term HPC roadmap, then zero-in on quantum computing—detailing quantum algorithms, hardware architectures, and software tools.
Deliverables
1. Slide deck (PDF) summarising the future HPC landscape with a dedicated quantum section.
2. Architecture diagram (editable source + high-resolution image).
3. Session recordings or detailed notes so the team can revisit key points.
Acceptance criteria
• Roadmap must reference current exascale milestones and projected quantum milestones (hardware qubit counts, algorithm readiness, tool maturity).
• Diagram reflects both on-prem and cloud components, clearly marking OOD, GitLab and Slurm touch-points.
• All quantum content split into algorithms, hardware and software tools for easy internal distribution.
If you have hands-on experience guiding organisations through HPC evolution and can translate complex quantum concepts into practical planning advice, I’m ready to schedule the kick-off right away.
