Fix Windows OneDrive Sync Issue

I can’t locate several files that should be in my OneDrive folder on Windows. I suspect something went wrong between the local Desktop location and OneDrive’s cloud sync, but I haven’t checked the sync status yet. I usually store everything directly inside the OneDrive folder, so the disappearance is worrying.

I need a Windows-savvy OneDrive expert to:

• Remotely investigate where the files have gone,
• Pinpoint whether they are stranded on the local Desktop, stuck in a pending upload, or lost in version history,
• Correct the sync configuration so future saves always land safely in the cloud, and
• Walk me through simple checks I can run next time before panic sets in.
