Compare VirtualBox and Hyper-V

Type 1 and 2 hypervisors are fundamentally said to differ in terms of performance. However, the ease of transition from one to the other, what similarities and differences they have in terms of usage, configuration and deployment can provide useful insights. This assignment is concerned with comparing and contrasting both types of hypervisors under a given set of metrics.
Tasks:
Produce a comparison report of Hyper-V and Oracle VirtualBox. You must evaluate each product under a set
of criteria which should include:
-Detailed Networking configuration examples & implications
-Administration considerations
-Monitoring analysis
-Backups / Migration & encapsulation considerations
-Key considerations when migrating from VirtualBox to Hyper-V
-Plus at least one additional key metric
This report shouldn’t be a configuration guide, but it must be detailed enough to show that the systems were
interacted with, evaluated and implications considered. Nor is this solely a research report; it should be a
hands-on report detailing your interaction and findings rather than just research into offerings.
