Cloudways Dev & Prod Deployment

I have a web application and its companion mobile app running on MongoDB, and it’s time to move them off my ad-hoc test machine. I want the entire stack rebuilt on Cloudways, using the digital ocean linode or AWS layer underneath: an EC2 instance for the application tier and an RDS-for-MongoDB cluster for data.

Two fully separated sandboxes are required—one for day-to-day development, one for production—each with its own environment variables, SSL, and a simple Git-based deployment pipeline.

Security comes first, so please harden the servers with a properly configured firewall and disable all password logins in favor of SSH keys.

Deliverables
• Cloudways account set up with isolated DEV and PROD servers, each mapped to its own EC2 instance and backed by RDS for MongoDB
• Automated deployment workflow that pushes the correct branch to the right environment
• Clear, repeatable provisioning scripts or documentation
• Verified firewall rules and a short hand-over session so I can manage the stack myself
