Cloud Server Setup for Tally
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a Windows-based cloud server provisioned and fully configured to host both Busy and Tally accounting software for 15 concurrent users. The instance must deliver roughly 256 GB of RAM and at least 512 GB of fast, reliable storage so day-to-day bookkeeping, GST returns and large data files load without lag.
Once the machine is live, I’ll rely on you to:
• Install and activate the latest stable releases of Busy and Tally, apply any required database engines, and enable multi-user access.
• Create 15 user profiles with appropriate Remote Desktop permissions and basic folder segregation.
• Harden the server with practical Windows firewall rules, strong passwords and automatic patching; please suggest any additional low-maintenance security steps worth adopting.
• Set up daily image-level backups to a separate volume or cloud bucket so we can roll back quickly if needed.
• Hand over clear credentials, a concise run-book (start-up, shutdown, backup restore) and a 1-hour walk-through via screen-share so my in-house IT staff feel comfortable taking over routine monitoring.
You are free to recommend AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or any other reliable provider that meets these specs and offers predictable monthly pricing; I’ll open the account once we confirm the exact instance type.
The job is complete when all 15 users can sign in simultaneously, open Busy and Tally, and perform sample transactions without noticeable delay.
