Location: Onsite Only – Dallas, Texas (No remote option)

We are seeking a Senior Vertafore Specialist to help diagnose and resolve performance-related issues as our client migrates from on-premise to cloud. This is a short-term, high-impact engagement with potential for extension based on outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and resolve system performance bottlenecks across Vertafore AIM and associated platforms
Work closely with internal teams to identify lock contention, deadlocks, and transaction blocking
Tune back-end processes and optimize overall system efficiency
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to document and baseline KPIs
Ensure regression risks are minimized during optimization changes
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of professional experience in software or systems engineering
2+ years hands-on with Vertafore AIM (mandatory)
Experience in performance tuning, system diagnostics, and load analysis
Deep understanding of Vertafore ecosystem (ImageRight, AMS360, PL Rating)
Familiarity with AIM back-end batch processes: Accounting, Policy Upload, Document Management
Knowledge of Citrix-hosted / multisite environments
Strong communication skills – ability to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred:
Experience with documenting optimization strategies and outcomes
Exposure to legacy-to-modern system migrations
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
