AWS EC2 Windows Setup

I need a fresh Windows-based EC2 instance spun up and handed over ready for use. The task is straightforward: select the right instance type, launch it, configure networking and storage, apply basic hardening, and verify that I can log in through Remote Desktop without issues.
The focus is strictly on AWS compute services—no S3, RDS, or other stacks—so please be comfortable with the EC2 console, key pair generation, security groups, IAM roles, and, if you prefer, the AWS CLI or CloudFormation to keep things repeatable.

Deliverables
• One running Windows EC2 instance in my chosen region
• Security group rules that allow RDP from a specified IP range only
• An IAM role with least-privilege access for the instance
• A short hand-off note covering instance type, AMI ID, and any automated steps or scripts used

Once the instance is validated from my end, the project is complete.
